The Contax IIIa is a masterpiece of German camera-making engineering that in my opinion never received the credits that it should have. Arguably boasting an even better building quality than the Leica M3, this camera is just compact enough to fit inside a jacket pocket, super easy to carry around with pleasant mechanical sounds, capable to produce beautiful dreamy-like images.
At the same time, it is also a camera that I never feel like taking it as 1st option for street shooting. Despite its qualities, the viewfinder is just not big and bright enough to obtain a fast focus.
